While the Fitbit Charge 5 is no longer brand new, having been released back in
September this year, what with Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the festive
period approaching, many may be on the hunt for a fitness tracker to keep us on
our toes over the winter period – a time usually rife with nights-in and
overindulgence.
While Fitbit are certainly an industry-leader in the area of wearable technology,
with giants like Apple also in the business of fitness trackers, Fitbit is having to
strive for improvements to keep their userbase from jumping ship. So, have they
achieved this with the Charge 5?
In terms of the design, it is pretty sleek, and available in three colourways:
black/graphite, steel blue/platinum or white/gold, lending a nice choice. As noted
by Yahoo, the device is 10% thinner than its predecessor, the Fitbit Charge 4,
and features smooth rounded edges...
